Tuttomercatoweb report on Chelsea’s interest in Suso, with La Liga side Atletico Madrid also claimed to be keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.

Suso is best known in England for the spell he spent with Liverpool, first joining the club as an academy player in 2010.

Despite spending two-and-a-half years with the Reds, Suso played just 21 times for their first-team, scoring his only goal against Middlesbrough in a League Cup clash.

While contracted to the Merseysiders, Suso also spent a season on loan at Almeria in his homeland, netting three times in 33 La Liga appearances.

Milan swooped for the wantaway winger in January 2015, and after a slow start in Italy, he’s gone on to establish himself as one of Serie A’s best and most consistent performers.

He’s made over 100 appearances for Milan, scoring 18 goals and creating a further 33 along the way, and his form this season has been remarkable: Suso has played a role in 10 goals (three goals and seven assists) in just 11 matches.

The forward’s rise to prominence in Milan has seen him previously linked with big-money moves to some of Europe’s most famous clubs, including Real Madrid, Napoli, and even former side Liverpool.

Suso has a contract running until June 2022, but Milan are hoping to tie him down for a further year. The player himself is happy at the club and also wants to pen fresh terms with the Rossoneri.
