Jose Mourinho is reportedly keep tabs on the excellent Spain international left-back

Manchester United have been told to stump up more than £130million if they are to sign Jordi Alba from Barcelona.

Alba, the full-back, has entered the final two years of his contract with the Camp Nou club, and they are yet to offer him a new deal.

This has led to interest in the 29-year-old from rival clubs, with United and Juventus reported to be battling for the Spain international’s signature.

However, the latest reports make it clear Barca are in no rush to sell Alba, and could in fact offer him renewed terms over the coming months.

This has ruled out the chances of Alba leaving Catalonia in a cut-price deal, with Sport saying Barcelona are relaxed about the situation.

As such, they have told all interested parties that they are unlikely to consider selling the left-back unless they are forced to by a bid of £133million, which would trigger the release clause written into his existing contract.
